Combi vs system vs heat-only

Combi (all-in-one)

Instant hot water on demand, no cylinder. Best for 1 to 2 bathroom homes with one person showering at a time. Most common install in Leeds.

System

Separate hot water cylinder. Better for 2+ bathroom homes with simultaneous demand. Cylinder needs airing cupboard space.

Heat-only (regular)

Older-style with cold water tank in the loft plus cylinder. Being replaced in most modern installs. Still fine if you have gravity-fed showers you want to keep.
